I flew Delta, because, Atlanta. Of course it didn't help that traffic was a nightmare, for no apparent reason on a Wednesday afternoon and it took 60 minutes to get from work to the Airport. TSA proved they just don't care as my line of waited for our bags because the person on the screen wanted to talk with other employees. I spent more time waiting for my bags than I did getting through TSA Precheck/Digital ID. If you still believe the government is the answer, please spend time at the Atlanta Airport.
The really bad thunderstorm delayed us 75 minutes,. The flight was uneventful, and I slept for about an hour. It was 10:30 pm before I reached the Venetian (https://www.venetianlasvegas.com/welcome.html). What a room.
Budget Las Vegas upgraded me to a Rav 4, much more than what I needed, but with the employee discount, who cares. Got in line to check in at the hotel and once again realized how much I hate the general public. If you want to trim voter rolls, then just don't allow people who take more than 5 minutes, with a reservation, to check in to hotel (or rent a car for that matter) a chance to vote in the next election. If they can't figure it out in 2 years, they lose again. I was in and out in under 5 minutes, the lady at the desk asked if I traveled much since I walked up and handed her all the things she was going to ask for any way.
Stopped at the 24 hr Walgreens next to the hotel for water and a few snack items, and it is now time to sleep.
